Wondriska William was born in 1931 in Oak Park, Illinois. After studying at Yale and the School of Art in Chicago, he taught at several universities U.S. and created the graphic design studio Wondriska Associates, working for clients like Walt Disney. He wrote, illustrated and photographed eleven books for children who have been awarded numerous awards by the American Institute of Graphic Arts. He now lives in Concord, Massachusetts.
